Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated by over a billion people around the world. Diwali is the biggest festival for Hindus across the globe and is also celebrated by Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists. Diwali celebrates the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, positivity, and the light we all have within. There are five days of Diwali and several stories associated with the holiday.

Donations  can be dropped off in person in the Leal front office in our Diwali Donation box. We accept cash, check or Zelle.

If you are dropping off donations in the office please include an envelope with;

  1. Your Students name 
  2. Your contact information; Parents' Name and email/ and or telephone number
  3. Grade level and Teachers Name

A brief note for your Childs teacher (Optional). 





                          


    This is a self-funded event, and we welcome any donation to support this event. 

    Any funds that remain will be contributed back to the LEAP program. 

    • November 3rd (6pm)Diwali Night -  Celebrating our colorful and diverse heritage with wonderful performances and delicious food!        Our invitation is open to all Leal families and friends. The event will take place in the quad at Leal Elementary.
    • Date: November 8, 2023: Teachers Diwali Luncheon (Exclusive to Teachers/Admin) - Parents of Leal show appreciation  for our  wonderful teachers and staff by providing them with a Diwali-themed luncheon.
