Leal Elementary Arts Program (LEAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the Leal Elementary experience through engaging after-school programs. Our programs support teachers, enhance arts and enrichment opportunities, and provide resources that benefit our students.

Before You Register

We want every LEAP family to feel informed and prepared before their student begins class. By enrolling in a LEAP program,parents/guardians agree to follow the applicable policies of Frank C. Leal Elementary School, ABC Unified School District, and LEAP.

Please take a few minutes to review the LEAP Policies & Guidelines before registering. These include important information about registration, refunds, attendance, late pick-up fees, and other program expectations.

Class Information: Please review the Registration Page for class descriptions, grade levels, schedules, meeting times, and other important details.

1. Schedule Changes: LEAP will notify families by email of significant changes to class schedules, instructors, classroom locations, or class offerings as soon as reasonably possible. While we do our best to follow the published schedule, occasional changes may be necessary.
2. Class Enrollment: Some classes require a minimum number of students to operate. If enrollment does not meet the minimum, LEAP may cancel the class and may offer it again in a future session.
3. ASEP SoCal Programs: Registration and payment for ASEP SoCal programs must be completed directly through ASEP SoCal. These programs are not managed by LEAP.
4. Class Fees: Unless otherwise noted, class fees include instruction and applicable materials.
5. Kindergarten Families: During the Kindergarten Alternative Schedule, childcare is not provided after dismissal. Families must pick up their child at dismissal and return them to school at the scheduled class start time.
6. Photos & Recordings: Photos, videos, and audio recordings of students may be taken during LEAP activities and used for LEAP promotional or educational purposes without compensation. A student's name will not be used without prior permission.

By registering, families confirm that they have reviewed the available program information and understand and agree to follow the applicable LEAP policies and guidelines.
